Chelsea supporters were not shy to take to social media to complain after another heavy loss at Stamford Bridge last night.

A 4-2 loss at home to Wolves left those who attended the stadium absolutely fuming, with some of the criticism in particular heading the way of Mauricio Pochettino.

The manager has been seemingly safe up to now, likely due to his success in the EFL Cup up to now.

The Blues are set for the final against Liverpool at the end of this month, with them needing to perform a lot better than they did against them last week.

It seems that some supporters would be happy if the Argentine wasn’t actually in charge for the big game, with them fed up with what has played out this season.

With Chelsea falling into the bottom half of the table after yesterday’s result, it seems this was the point where some had enough.

Chelsea fans want Mourinho to replace Pochettino

Many took to social media with one name in mind as for who should take over the role.

One user said: “Sack Pochettino and hire Jose Mourinho now before we return to London”

Another claimed: “Chelsea were on a 5 year trophy drought in 2004 and in 2013 they hadn’t won the Premier League in 3 years. José Mourinho came in, signed the right players and got Chelsea winning… both times. When Chelsea are down, José Mourinho comes to the rescue.”

A third said: “This idea is actually appealing to me, Mourinho would put EVERYBODY in their places, but will their egos allow it or would they simply stop playing as usual?”

It does feel as if going back to Mourinho would be somewhat of a backwards step, especially based on his recent form as a manager.

He was recently sacked by Roma after a poor start to the campaign, however his name will never be fully out of discussions if Pochettino is sacked.
