Chelsea fans warn board not to go anywhere near Arsenal player this summer

Chelsea supporters are not happy with the club’s board right now, and they could become even unhappier with them if they do not get their way in the upcoming transfer window.

Most Chelsea fans would probably welcome the arrival of a new striker. The Liam Delap signing has been a failure, while Emanuel Emegha already has plenty of doubters.

Even so, there is one forward at Arsenal whom Chelsea supporters want absolutely nothing to do with.

Chelsea fans would be against any move for Gabriel Jesus

There is nothing to suggest that Chelsea are currently interested in Gabriel Jesus.

However, with Arsenal open to selling Jesus for just £20m, The Chelsea Chronicle asked fans on TalkingPoints whether they would take the Brazilian. Based on the replies we got, it is fair to say that he would be a very unpopular signing!

One Chelsea fan said: “No let [Nicolas] Jackson compete with [Joao] Pedro. That should bring him to life for us.”

Another posted: “WE DON’T NEED GABRIEL JESUS!”

One TalkingPoints user said: “Noooooooooo, keep Jackson and don’t make this guy another Sterling.”

And another wrote: “Absolutely not! Too similar [to Pedro] and also never fit!”

Chelsea have shown interest in Jesus in the past, before his move from Manchester City to Arsenal. But in the end, it did not materialise into anything.

After all of his injury issues at the Emirates, they will not feel like they have missed out on much. However, if the club want to bring him in again, there is a chance to do so this summer.

The Arsenal star Chelsea fans are likely to accept

While Chelsea are not thought to be pursuing Jesus, they have been linked with other Arsenal players, including Riccardo Calafiori.

In March, it was claimed that Chelsea are monitoring Calafiori’s situation at the Emirates. It is hard to imagine him leaving Arsenal right now after their success, but he is someone Blues supporters would be more inclined to take.

Centre-back has been an issue for Chelsea this term, while the club could lose Marc Cucurella. Calafiori is now a Premier League-proven defender who can play in central defence or left-back, so he could be ideal for Xabi Alonso.
