Former Chelsea star John Terry has made it pretty clear that he has a lot of distain towards some of the club’s biggest Premier League rivals.

The Blues legend has seemingly made it his mission at times to wind up supporters of those sides, with Terry mocking Spurs supporters frequently when the Blues get the better of them in league action.

The Gunners are also frequently in the firing line of the Englishman, with Terry making a dig at Arsenal a couple of months ago for their lack of trophies in the modern era.

The former captain’s loyalty to the Blues goes all the way back to when he joined the club. Terry picked Chelsea over Manchester United in the 1990s despite the massive difference between both sides at the time.

Arguably Chelsea’s greatest ever player is currently enjoying his first stint as some sort of manager, with him leading one of the sides in the newly launched Baller League.

After a win against an opposition led by Arsenal legends Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljunberg, Terry couldn’t help but make a dig at the Gunners following the game.

When asked by Sky Sports if it was a sweet moment to beat an opposition themed around one of his greatest rivals, he simply said: “Normal Saturday afternoon for me.”

During his playing days, Terry enjoyed a succesful record against Arsenal, including being unbeaten in the Champions League and League Cup against them.

How is John Terry getting on in the Baller League?

Terry is amongst footballing royalty in the Baller League, with the likes of Alan Shearer, Ian Wright and Gary Lineker also involved with their respective sides.

The season has not been going so well for the 26ers, however they picked up their first win of the campaign against N5 FC, getting Terry on the board.

The former Chelsea captain has made it no secret that he wanted to get into management, and Terry admitted he was disappointed Frank Lampard didn’t bring him in as a coach when he was in charge of the Blues.

While being in charge of a side in the Baller League is not likely to attract any attention from top-level professional clubs, Terry’s priority after the tournament will likely return to Cobham, where he has been working with the promising bunch of academy players looking to make it at Stamford Bridge.
