Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now going to keep hold of defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer.
According to the Evening Standard, the club are now not looking to sell the Englishman after it was confirmed that Wesley Fofana had suffered a serious knee injury.
There have been plenty of reports that Chalobah was surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and the club were open to offers.

It was even claimed that new manager Mauricio Pochettino himself had no idea if he wanted to keep hold of the 24-year-old, although he has now been given the opportunity of a few weeks in pre-season to help make his mind up.
However, he will have been hoping the decision could have been made under far more positive circumstances. Yesterday saw Fofana’s season confirmed as all-but over before it has even begun.
Chelsea to do u-turn on Chalobah
The Frenchman’s injury luck has continued, with him surely being part of the new manager’s plans for starting the Premier League opener against Liverpool.
With his absence, it is now unfathomable for Chalobah to be allowed to leave, as they go into the season with just him, Thiago Silva, Levi Colwill and an injured Benoit Badiashile.

With a look ahead to the match against Jurgen Klopp’s men next month, it has been claimed that the recent developments have now handed Colwill a superb chance to start the curtain-raiser.
There have been no assurances yet regarding his future at the club, with the likes of Brighton really interested in confirming a permanent deal.
However, all reports have stated that the Blues have made it clear that they do not see him being for sale, and a recent serious injury in the position is unlikely to change that stance.
