Chelsea have now confirmed that midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has returned to full training with the first team.
An injury summary on their official website has stated that he is now in full training, after missing a number of games with a knee problem.
Despite very rarely featuring last season, there was plenty of excitement at the club regarding Chukwuemeka following his £20m transfer last summer.

Already under Mauricio Pochettino, opportunities have felt more possible for the youngster, and this was shown in the opening Premier League matches of the season.
He started and gradually got into the opener against Liverpool, before smashing home his first goal for the club against West Ham.
Moments later though, he was forced off the pitch clearly in pain, with there fears that he could be set to miss a prolonged period of time.
Chukwuemeka back in training
While he has been out for over a month now, it has been claimed previously that he has been slowly building back up his fitness, working alongside Reece James.
Now, the club’s weekly round-up of injuries has stated that he is in first team training fully, pushing towards making a return for the club.

It remains to be seen whether he will walk back into the first team straight away, with there plenty of competition for places in the midfield and attacking roles.
Supporters are hopeful that Cole Palmer is handed his first start of the season against Fulham at the weekend.
With Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo almost automatic starters when fit now, it will be difficult for the former Aston Villa man to break back in to the side.
