Chelsea outcast now spotted back training at Cobham despite not being in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans

A photo on Instagram has emerged that seems to show striker Romelu Lukaku back at Cobham training ground as part of Chelsea.

Uploaded by the account Maaliq_official, the Belgium international is posing in the new training kit which the players have been seen in ahead of the upcoming season.

It is almost certain at this stage that Lukaku will be on the move this summer after completely burning his bridges at Stamford Bridge.

While it may have looked like a transfer to Inter Milan seemed the most reasonable solution to take place after he spent the entire season on loan there, he somehow managed to destroy his relationships there too.

He did this by negotiating with Juventus over a potential deal, and that at this stage seems the most likely place for him to end up.

This however will only occur if a deal can be reached that suits Chelsea which will see Dusan Vlahovic heading the other way, after much talk regarding his future.

Lukaku back at Cobham

It is still uncertain whether this conclusion will be reached though, and it is thought that those at Chelsea are still nudging him in the direction of a move to Saudi Arabia.

It has been claimed that a very tempting offer has come in for the Belgian from the lucrative league, and a quick solution is certainly desirable for the Blues.

However, the player is seemingly against this, believing he is still one of the best strikers in world football at this stage.

While many Chelsea fans would likely disagree with this point of view, it is impossible for the club to select the place he ends up without his personal blessing,

For this reason, the most likely scenario for him to be out this summer looks like Juventus, whether Vlahovic is particularly wanted or not.
