There are many records held by Petr Cech that Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta will never break.
Unless he undergoes a serious positional change, Azpilicueta will never obtain the most sheets in Premier League history.
Nor will achieve the highest number of clean sheets in a single league season, or reach 100 clean sheets in the fewest appearances.
He might not even match Cech’s major trophy haul, which stands at a grand total 14, although his nine is nothing to be sneered at.
But there is one achievement that Azpilicueta can finally snatch off his former teammate this weekend.

What could Azpilicueta achieve against Nottingham Forest?
If the defender is selected to face Nottingham Forest tomorrow, he will surpass Cech as the leading overseas appearance maker for Chelsea.
The pair are currently joint on 494, with the iconic goalkeeper’s last arriving in 2015.
Tomorrow could the day Cech’s crown is passed over to Azpilicueta, who is in with a very good shout of being picked by Graham Potter.
Reece James’ absence due to injury leaves the right-back or right-wing back slot rather short of options.
Unless Potter attempts to give Raheem Sterling another shot on the flank, the skipper is more than likely going to take control.

Whilst this is a decent short-term fix until James is fully recovered, Todd Boehly might be eager to dip into the market to add more cover to this area of the field.
He has reportedly looked in the direction of Celtic’s Josip Juranovic and Denzel Dumfries of Inter Milan.
With January quite literally just a few hours away, perhaps Boehly’s pursuit will become more intense very soon.
