Chelsea will be gearing up to face Liverpool right now ahead of the crunch clash on Sunday, but they could be without one player who suffered an injury on international duty.
Enzo Maresca has already said he’s going to be taking his normal style to face Liverpool and won’t change a thing, with no fear heading to Anfield.
Chelsea are currently on a six-game unbeaten streak with 14 points to their name, and they have the chance ruin Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the season.
Interestingly, it has been stated that those players who stayed behind at Chelsea during the international break have been doing passing and shooting exercises.
It’s actually refreshing to see a manager not think about changing too much ahead of a tough challenge, as there’s no real need to as things have gone really well in recent times.
However, they may be without one player for the Liverpool clash, as one player suffered an injury whilst away on international duty.
International manager shares injury to Chelsea player
Reece James is the one name that springs to mind when you think of players who have been unlucky with injuries at Chelsea.
However, James is set to return to action on November 7th, which will come as a big boost for Chelsea who have been without his services for so long.
Injuries are never nice for any player, but unfortunately one Chelsea player has been unlucky.

Speaking to Bold, Denmark Under-21 boss Steffen Hojer said this after Jorgensen was substituted off with an injury to his eye.
“It is crazy how unlucky he is. Now that quota must be used up.
“It wasn’t planned. Instead, it’s a semi-bad habit we’ve got into with changing goalkeepers. He got hit down there and wasn’t quite at his best.
“We decided to take him out, so we didn’t have to go back to Chelsea with something or other. I don’t know how he’s doing.
“But I don’t think it’s something that people should be worried about. We just didn’t want to take any chances.”
Filip Jorgensen’s time at Chelsea so far
Filip Jorgensen joined Chelsea in the summer and has already made four appearances.
These have all come in cup competitions, with two in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, one in the Europa Conference League and one in the Carabao Cup.
The lack of game time in the Premier League hasn’t fazed Jorgensen, who is happy to bide his time and make the most of appearances in Europe.
Robert Sanchez’s form for the majority of this season hasn’t helped Jorgensen’s chances in the Premier League, as he’s established himself as the number one under Maresca.
