Reports have claimed that Chelsea may now let one player leave on loan this summer after it looked as if he would become a crucial member of the first team for next season.
Many are wondering what the first team will look like next season in what is set to be Enzo Maresca’s first campaign as a Premier League boss.
After the fixtures were announced today, it was revealed they would be welcoming Manchester City on the opening day of the season, 12 months after they hosted Liverpool in the same fixture slot.

New signings are likely to be necessary in order to give them the best shot of success next season, and one player they are reportedly keen on bringing in is Michael Olise.
However, some players who were on loan away last season have unclear futures at this stage, and one of those is Andrey Santos.

Andrey Santos could now be loaned out by Chelsea
It was reported that the Brazil international was seen as a perfect player for the new manager, and that he would be given chances with the first team for next season.
However, according to The Athletic, they are now open to letting him leave on loan to partner club Strasbourg again for at least the first half of next season.
Santos doesn’t really want to leave on loan
The report went on to say that the player would take some convincing to make the move, with him no doubt keen to get his Chelsea career up and running.
The impressive football he played in the back end of last season will no doubt have left him thinking like he can play a part at Stamford Bridge this season, especially if fellow youngster Lesley Ugochukwu is loaned out.
Cesare Casadei is another young midfielder who could be on the move, with him reportedly not convincing everyone at the club that he has the capabilities to star in the future.
