Chelsea were not able to complete all of the business they intended to on what was still a busy transfer deadline day.
There was an aim to sell a number of players who are out of the first team picture under Enzo Maresca to play their football elsewhere.
The Blues seem to have strengthened their options in the final hours of the summer transfer window with the signing of Jadon Sancho for around £25m from Manchester United, with it originally being a loan deal.
Chelsea seemed to be in negotiations with a number of clubs as the window came closer to shutting, however did not get many of them over the line.
Two of those players were strikers, with Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana two of the players they were trying to rehome.

Chelsea still looking to sell Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana after deadline
Fabrizio Romano has stated that Chelsea will try in the next few days to find a new club for them outside of Europe, where the transfer window remains open for another few days.
He said: “At the moment no agreement for Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana. Chelsea hope to find some agreements outside of Europe in the next days.”
There was late interest in Fofana from Sunderland, however that deal failed to get over the line.
Issue in Broja medical
Broja looked most likely to move to Ipswich if anywhere this summer, with him originally seeming to have a deal agreed to remain in the Premier League.
However, an issue cropped up during his medical process, with them left unwilling to complete the deal at the previously agreed price.
Chelsea were also looking to sell Deivid Washington to Strasbourg in the final moments of the summer, however there is so far no confirmation that was able to get over the line.
