Chelsea believe that they now have a duo in the squad that can combine perfectly in Enzo Maresca’s system.
Blues head coach Enzo Maresca has now had over two months in charge at Stamford Bridge, and we’re starting to see common themes in his team selection.
There’s seven Chelsea stars that have started every Premier League match so far: Robert Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Marc Cucurella, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, and Nicolas Jackson.
It’s been claimed in fresh reports that the Blues believe there’s two other stars that could be a perfect mix together in the starting line-up, though.

Chelsea excited by Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke combination
According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea think that wingers Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke are the ‘perfect’ profile for Maresca.
Also, their inclusion in wide areas allows talisman Cole Palmer to operate more centrally behind a striker.
Sancho, 24, made his Blues debut on the left flank in the weekend’s league win away to Bournemouth, assisting the winning goal. Darren Bent was blown away by Sancho’s performance as he caught the eye during his first 45 minutes for the club.
Similarly, Madueke has been in impressive form in the early weeks of this campaign. The 22-year-old right-winger has four goals in five games across all competitions so far for the Blues.
The Enzo Maresca blueprint
For anyone who watched Leicester City last season, they’ll know that Maresca places great importance on his wide men to be heavily involved in the attacking phases. It was Foxes wingers Stephy Mavididi and Abdul Fatawu that largely shined in Leicester’s title-winning campaign in the Championship last year.
Now, Maresca is working with even more talented wingers this term after leaving Leicester to sit in the Chelsea dugout.
In terms of Sancho and Madueke, both are excellent dribblers in one-on-one situations. It looks like they’ll get the freedom in the Blues system to express themselves on the ball when they’re high and wide.
Similarly, Chelsea wingers Pedro Neto and Mykhailo Mudryk are two more options that will have a lot to stay about things when it comes to the starting XI.
