Chelsea are keen to confirm a number of sales this week in a final attempt to trim down their bloated first team squad for the new season.
The strength in depth they have was on full display in their 6-2 win against Wolves at the weekend, Enzo Maresca’s first victory as a Premier League manager.
The Italian was able to sub on players with the quality of Pedro Neto and Joao Felix, who combined for the latter’s first goal of his second spell at the club.
A number of players though are surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with them looking for a solution for the likes of Raheem Sterling before Friday’s deadline.
Another they are looking to move on is Romelu Lukaku, with there being a serious attempt to permanently sell him after a number of loan moves away.

Chelsea meeting over selling Romelu Lukaku today
Napoli have shown interest in a permanent move, with a verbal agreement being reached for Lukaku worth £38m.
It has been claimed now that the two sides are getting closer to closing an agreement, with Di Marzio saying that they will meet today in order to seal the deal.
There is no doubt a lot of quality for a side to get out of Lukaku, and Napoli may well be the best destination for him.
Their manager, Antonio Conte, is a huge fan of Lukaku, with him reportedly desperate to bring him in this summer.
Chelsea looking at Victor Osimhen
The Serie A side’s interest in the Belgian could see Chelsea make a late move for a striker as a result.
Victor Osimhen is reportedly wanting out of Naples after signing his new contract late last year, however up to now no side has made a suitable offer to sign him.
Chelsea are reportedly keen though, and may well make a proper attempt to bring him in before Friday’s deadline.
