Chelsea are set to send one of their most talented youngsters on loan, with him finding the perfect club for his development over the next 12 months.
BlueCo followed up their investment into the Blues with a takeover of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, and it has not taken them long to make the most of them.
Last season saw Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic spend the campaign with them, as they both performed brilliantly to help them qualify for the Conference League.
Santos is now ready for Enzo Maresca’s first team squad, while Chelsea made a significant profit on Petrovic when he joined Bournemouth.

Chelsea’s Mike Penders to sign his Strasbourg contract on Monday
The Serbian’s replacement waiting in the wings is likely going to be Mike Penders. The youngster was part of the squad who won the Club World Cup earlier this season.
It has already been stated that Penders is Strasbourg-bound this summer, with them needing a new number one after Petrovic did not return there on a permanent basis.
This looks as if it is going to be the Blues youngster, with Fabrizio Romano stating that he is heading to Austria today to sign a contract with the Ligue 1 side.
He said: “Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders will travel to Austria on Monday to sign in as new Strasbourg player on loan. Up next: Kendry Paez.”
The Blues can loan three players to the same club as per the rules, and they will likely be look to add another name to the list after Kendry Paez.

Chelsea incredibly excited by Penders
The Blues have not been afraid to commit big money to promising young players, and the goalkeeper is one of those they are particularly excited by.
Chelsea see Penders as a talent similar to Estevao Willian, who is set for a campaign with the Chelsea first team after he joins after facing the Blues during the Club World Cup.
While they will have to wait at least another season before the Belgian makes an impact in West London, it looks as if it will be Robert Sanchez between the sticks for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Spaniard did not impress throughout the entirety of last season, however enjoyed a sensational Club World Cup campaign and showed he has plenty to offer when he is at his best.
