The vast amount of Chelsea stars who will represent their country at the World Cup are going through their warmup games now, although Malo Gusto has received a slight setback.
France are seen as one of the favourites for the tournament, however will only have the right-back from the potential options at Stamford Bridge.
Gusto will face off against Chelsea teammates Nicolas Jackson and Mamadou Sarr in the group stages, and will be hoping these warmup games give him the best chance of starting at the tournament.

Malo Gusto beaten as France lose to Ivory Coast
France’s first game resulted in a 2-1 defeat to Ivory Coast, as they tried out a variety of players before the group stages begin.
Gusto started the game as a substitute, although was brought on at the hour mark with the score at 1-1.
In the time he was on the pitch, Manchester United’s Amad Diallo scored what proved to be the winning goal, who was also on as a half-time sub.

France were unable to come back into the game, posing some questions to Didier Deschamps over whether he is the man to start at right-back this summer.
The Chelsea man is competing with Jules Kounde for a place in the side, a player who Chelsea have been strongly linked with in the past.
Who are YOU most excited to see at the World Cup?
A number of Chelsea defenders will be looking to start for their countries. The aforementioned Sarr was a key player for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations.
Marc Cucurella will be a certainty to start for Spain, although there is a thought that he may be playing for his future at another club.
The most likely replacement for him at Stamford Bridge, Jorrel Hato, will also be looking to enjoy a strong World Cup as part of the Netherlands side.
