Chris Sutton is convinced Chelsea will go out and try to sign RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol soon.
Gvardiol, who had a breakout World Cup tournament with Croatia last winter, is a highly-rated centre-back.
The 21-year-old defender is a key individual for German side RB Leizpig, who are in Champions League knockout action tonight against Manchester City.
He’s a left-footed centre-half who’s composed and technically skilful with the ball at his feet. Also, the youngster is strong, aggressive and quick with his defensive work out of possession.

Josko Gvardiol prediction
Sutton believes Gvardiol’s future will be in the Premier League, with Chelsea as a likely suitor.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how Gvardiol handles Erling Haaland. He’s a brilliant passer and, at 21, one of the most highly-rated young defenders around,” Sutton told the Daily Mail.
“Gvardiol is a rising star and someone we’re likely to see in the Premier League soon. Chelsea will no doubt be calling his agent.”

In fairness, Chelsea have been linked with a move for Gvardiol in recent times.
Journalist Christian Falk explained to GiveMeSport last month the extent of the Blues interest in the Leipzig star.
He reported that Christopher Vivell, who’s the Chelsea technical director, held conversations with the Bundesliga club about Gvardiol. Vivell asked about the possibility of a summer exit, and there’s a chance.
In addition, Foot Mercato claimed last month that Chelsea even submitted a bid worth over £80million.
Let’s see if the Blues decide to ramp up any interest if he impresses on the Champions League stage.
