The rollercoaster that has become transfer windows at Chelsea in the past few years still looks as if it has a number of twists and turns before deadline day on Friday.
It has been claimed that the Blues are still assessing the market for a new striker in the coming days, and are still working out which option is the best to pursue.
The club have reportedly made their first offer to Victor Osimhen as they consider bringing him in, however a big drop in wages is required from him to fit into their structure that has been put in place in recent months.

He is not the only name on the Blues’ list though. It is believed Chelsea are considering four different strikers they could sign this week.
One of those names is Ivan Toney, with it being claimed yesterday they are thinking about making a late move to sign him from Brentford.

Some believe this addition would be a much better fit for their system and project, with Clinton Morrison telling Sky Sports News that he is a massive fan of the England international.
He said: “I like his confidence, I like his arrogance, he can finish, he can hold the ball up, he is good with his back to goal, he is good in the opposition box as well. I think he is a leader, he talks and he galvanises his team. I think for Chelsea it’s a superb signing.”
Toney has shown that he knows how to score goals in the Premier League, which is ultimately what they should be looking at if they still want to make a signing this summer.

This is despite the fact that they hit Wolves for six in their most recent Premier League game, with Nicolas Jackson opening the scoring within the first two minutes.
