Chelsea could sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the next few days as they look to strengthen up front before the transfer window closes.
Victor Osimhen continues to be linked with a move to west London, with it being claimed that Osimhen wants to join Chelsea.
Nicolas Jackson has led the line in the Blues’ first two Premier League games of the season, scoring last time out against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
But he could soon find himself competing against Osimhen for a spot in Enzo Maresca‘s team.

What Victor Osimhen thinks will happen if he joins Chelsea
Chelsea‘s attack was absolutely ruthless against Wolves last weekend, scoring six goals in a 6-2 win.
It now looks like Chelsea could add to that attack by bringing in Osimhen. And according to GiveMeSport, the 25-year-old believes he would thrive as the main man in Maresca’s forward line.
As well as Chelsea, Osimhen has also been linked to Paris Saint-Germain. It has been reported that PSG could make a £50m bid for him.
As of now, though, Stamford Bridge appears to be his most likely destination ahead of Friday’s deadline.
Ivan Toney could join Chelsea instead of Victor Osimhen
If Chelsea fail to land Osimhen, there is a strong possibility of them signing Ivan Toney from Brentford instead.
Chelsea are currently targeting Toney, though he appears to be their back-up option for Osimhen. As an alternative, the 28-year-old could be a very good signing for the Blues.
Toney is experienced and is familiar with the Premier League. This is quite a young Chelsea squad, so adding someone like him to their ranks could really help.
His best season in the English top flight saw him score 20 goals in 33 appearances. That kind of firepower, on top of what Cole Palmer is currently bringing to the table, would surely get Chelsea back into the Champions League.
Whether it is Toney or Osimhen, it looks like the Blues will have a new centre-forward before the weekend.
