Mauricio Pochettino’s management of Mykhailo Mudryk is going down well at Chelsea.
That is according to a report from The Guardian.
The outlet claims that insiders have been raving about Mauricio Pochettino and that the club are happy with how he has been dealing with Mykhailo Mudryk.
The 22-year-old has had a difficult time at Stamford Bridge since arriving and his manager recently told reporters that he has been using crossbar challenge to try and get his confidence up.
“With Mudryk, I like to play sometimes to [hit] the crossbar from outside the box,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by BBC Sport as the Argentine explained how he is trying to get the Ukrainian to believe in himself a bit more.
Mudryk, who has been described as a “talented” player by former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy, is still waiting for his first goal in blue.

Chelsea are obviously struggling right now, but Pochettino is an excellent coach.
During his last stint in England, he took Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to a Champions League final and a second-placed finish in the Premier League.
It is not a shock to hear that those at Chelsea are impressed with what they are seeing from the former Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain boss.
The above is all history, though, and what Pochettino will truly be judged on is where Chelsea are in the table today.
So, then, it is now time for the 51-year-old to get players such as Mudryk performing and Chelsea back into the Champions League places. That, however, is probably easier said than done.
