Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has been no stranger to smashing individual records since he came to the club.
Cole Palmer, 22, has been a sensation for Chelsea since he joined from Manchester City at the start of last season.
In 60 Blues appearances, the attacker has scored 33 goals and created 21 assists. Remarkably, Palmer has scored the same amount of Chelsea goals as Mason Mount, achieving the feat in 135 fewer games.

Cole Palmer on the brink of equalling Chelsea record
BBC Sport has relayed the information that Palmer is one short of equaling Chelsea’s club record of 36 Premier League goal involvements in a calendar year. It’s a Blues record that’s currently held by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (2001).
Palmer has six more top-flight games left in December to try equal and then surpass the individual Chelsea record.

Palmer scored and assisted in the weekend’s 3-0 home win over Aston Villa, so he’ll go into tonight’s Southampton clash in good spirit. Incidentally, Palmer was named in the latest Premier League Team of the Week, along with two Chelsea teammates.
It would be a surprise if Palmer doesn’t beat the above record with the way he’s playing and impacting games this season.

Cole Palmer still the outstanding Chelsea player this season
Chelsea pulled themselves to finish sixth in the Premier League last season, but for large spells they massivley felt like a one-man team that relied so heavily on Palmer’s genius talent. Fortunately, plenty of individuals in the Blues squad are in great form at this moment in time.
It’s interesting to see that the England star is still rated as the club’s best performer this season.
| Player | Average rating |
| Cole Palmer | 7.92 |
| Moises Caicedo | 7.58 |
| Nicolas Jackson | 7.51 |
| Noni Madueke | 7.35 |
| Wesley Fofana | 7.14 |
Palmer is going to continue knocking records out of the park for as long as he’s in Chelsea colours because he’s a special talent.
Interestingly, Enzo Maresca says Palmer is always first in Chelsea training with a football, which is no surprise when you see the way he performs on a matchday.
