Danny Murphy claims Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson would be a nightmare to play against.

Despite not scoring in his first two games of the season, Nicolas Jackson has certainly grabbed people’s attention at the start of his Chelsea career.

The young striker joined the Blues earlier this summer in a £32million (Daily Mail) deal from Villarreal, which could turn out to be a bargain at a later date.

He’s a 22-year-old frontman with fantastic pace, movement and energy. Blues fans will hope he gets off the mark with a goal this Friday night at home to Luton Town.

Murphy has explained he’s been really impressed by what he’s seen from Chelsea’s centre-forward. In fact, the retired Englishman admitted he wouldn’t like to face him on the pitch.

“How sharp is Jackson by the way. I wouldn’t want to play against him,” Murphy told FIVE’s YouTube channel.

Speaking on talkSPORT this week, Scott Minto has made a comparison between Jackson and Chelsea great Didier Drogba. We can’t think of many greater compliments as a Blues centre-forward.
