Scott Minto rates Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as a player with so much potential.
Nicolas Jackson, who’s just 22, completed his move this summer from Villarreal to Chelsea
He’s been a refreshing addition to the Blues line-up with his pace and movement in attack, which saw him make a superb first impression during pre-season.
The centre-forward is still waiting to score after his opening two Premier League appearances, but there’s definitely been enough in his individual performances to excite the fanbase.

TalkSPORT pundit Minto is hugely impressed by Chelsea’s newest forward, making a super bold comparison to legendary figure Didier Drogba.
“Do you know who he reminded me of in that first half? Didier Drogba,” Minto told talkSPORT.
“He was powerful. He dropped off. His touch was good. He was holding defenders off. He was running in behind. He was turning. Defenders couldn’t keep up with him pace wise. I was like, ‘woah, this is a player’.
“I’m very wary of using the words Didier Drogba with any Chelsea No 9… but I saw a lot of talent and a lot of potential there. He could turn things almost on his own.”

We agree that Jackson has been one of the most exciting parts of the new season so far.
Our guess is that the goals will begin to flood in once he gets off the mark. Let’s hope it’s tomorrow night in the home league match against Luton Town.

Everything is there for him to be a big hit once he rediscovers his shooting boots.
