Darren Bent has claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez makes him nervous whenever he’s on the ball.
Robert Sanchez, 25, made his Chelsea debut at the weekend in the 1-1 Premier League draw at home to Liverpool.
The Spanish keeper only joined the Blues earlier this month in a £25million (BBC) deal from Brighton, but he’s quickly gone into the starting line-up after the club loaned out Kepa Arrizabalaga to Real Madrid.

TalkSPORT pundit Bent did notice some indecision from Sanchez during his first Chelsea appearance on Sunday.
“With the ball at his feet, he makes me a little bit nervous. He hangs on it; he just delays a little bit too long. There was one time he passed it straight out to [Alexis] Mac Allister, and if his pass into [Dawrin] Nunez is better, he’s got a shot on goal,” Bent told talkSPORT.
In fairness, we agree with Bent’s points and would prefer the Chelsea gloveman to release the ball a bit quicker when he’s pressed.
However, we’ll take the positives from his display that he commanded his box well and had a safe pair of hands.
Hopefully, Chelsea’s keeper position is not one that is regularly debated about like in previous years.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Sanchez grows into the role as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, which is a big step for him in his career.
He had reached a crossroad at Brighton, which surprised many people, but he’s got a fresh chance to show his quality and potential.
The new Blues goalkeeper might not be on the same wavelength as someone like Ederson with the ball at his feet, but he immediately looks more comfortable than previous Chelsea shot-stopper Edouard Mendy.
The Evening Standard previously reported that Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino picked out Sanchez as his preferred goalkeeper transfer target. That should give him a big boost moving forward!
