Journalist David Ornstein has now given an update on the future of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea manager.
He was talking to NBC Sports off the back of the Blues’ draw in the West London derby against Brentford in the Premier League.
Chelsea had an up and down game against their London rivals, with them only being able to leave with a point from a 2-2 draw.

They took the lead through Nicolas Jackson in the first half, however found themselves chasing a goal with ten minutes to go.
The mood in the away end had turned toxic, with negative chants aimed at both Pochettino and owner Todd Boehly.
Axel Disasi did save them a point late, however it left a lot of people concerned as to what the future may now hold under this manager.
Mauricio Pochettino update
Pressure has been on the Argentine for a long time now, however this only increased after he was defeated at Wembley in the EFL Cup final.
Some supporters were ready for him to be replaced there and then, however they will not be buoyed by Ornstein’s recent update on the current situation.
He said: “I’m not aware of any moves to sack Mauricio Pochettino. Chelsea to the contrary, would prefer to move forward with him and for him to be a success.”
It was claimed last week that those on the board are actually in disagreement over what is best to do with the boss, with some even prepared to offer him a new contract.
On the other hand, it has been reported that there are some who are doing due diligence over potential replacements if they sack him in the coming weeks or months.
Ruben Amorim is a name who has been reported to be high on the list of the Blues, however they will not be alone in pursuing him.
