Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has discussed what he has noticed has already changed during his time at Chelsea.

He told the Mail Online that the mood at the club is very different following their return to winning ways in recent weeks.

The season is beginning to look more positive for the Blues, even if they do sit in the bottom half of the table still.

Saturday saw them make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time in a long while, and the manner they did this will no doubt have really pleased the manager.

For the first time since Graham Potter’s first game in charge of the club, the Blues came from behind to pick up the three points.

They ended up doing so in emphatic fashion. Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling starred in a 4-1 win against Burnley.

While their victories have not come against the strongest teams in the league, it is fair to say that the mood in the fanbase is beginning to shift slightly in a positive way.

Pochettino has now claimed that he has noticed a similar thing happening actually inside the club.

He said: “We’re going to spend the two weeks working at the training ground. To improve players, try and recover those who are injured. We are pushing hard to be better. The mood is different.”

A number of key players may well now be fit for the next Premier League game against Arsenal.

Reece James and Benoit Badiashile are reportedly close to coming back as defenders, while Carney Chukwuemeka has been named in the squad and may well be back on the pitch after his impressive opening to the campaign.
