ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop suggests Juventus should put the brakes on their interest in signing Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.
Christian Pulisic, who’s got a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, is now linked with a move away from the Blues.
ESPN claimed earlier this week that Serie A giants Juventus are leading the race to sign Pulisic in the summer transfer window. They added that Chelsea are listening to offers and will sell the winger for around £20million.
The 24-year-old’s just finished a very quiet season in Chelsea colours, so we’re not surprised he’s tipped to leave this summer.

Hislop doesn’t think a glamorous move to Italy to join up with Juventus is the right fit for Pulisic. In fact, he suggests the Chelsea attacker has to take a step down to play regular games.
When asked what level Pulisic fits in, Hislop told EPSN: “I think mid-table Premier League. The Juventus thing doesn’t make sense. If I’m one of the big clubs in English football, he doesn’t fit in either. Sometimes you just have to find that level. I think that level is a little bit lower down the league for Christian Pulisic.”

Pulisic’s return of one goal in 30 Chelsea appearances this season says everything about the way his time at Stamford Bridge has grinded to a halt.
He showed mid-season during the World Cup break with the United States he’s got talent, so it’s very much a case of him needing a fresh start at club level.
For Chelsea, they’ve moved in a new direction by signing wide players Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke.
It’s just a no-brainer for the club and player to make sure a transfer exit is secured this summer.
As for his next club, we agree that the American wide player should seek a move to a next home where he knows he’s going to be crucial and get regular starts.
