Mauricio Pochettino is prepared for Chelsea to sell Christian Pulisic this summer, according to reports.

With just one year left on his deal, Christian Pulisic’s future is an interesting topic for discussion going into the summer transfer window.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed this week that Pulisic is an individual that could soon exit Stamford Bridge, but the player’s camp will be quite specific on his next move.

Now, fresh claims suggests Juventus are in pole position to sign the 24-year-old.

ESPN says that Italian giants Juventus are currently leading the race for Pulisic’s signature this summer.

It is understood that the Blues are willing to listen to offers for the American winger in the transfer window and will sell him for a £20million transfer fee.

The report adds that newly-appointed Chelsea boss Pochettino will not change the club’s plans to get rid of the attacker.

ESPN adds that Manchester United, Newcastle, Napoli, AC Milan and Galatasaray have all been made aware of the Pulisic’s likely fee and salary, which currently sees him earn £13million per year at Stamford Bridge.

At the age of 24, Pulisic should still have his best years ahead of him and he’s obviously got talent. Unfortunately, we can’t see him fulfilling that at Chelsea.

The left-winger’s scored 26 goals in 145 Blues appearances in total, which seems relatively low for someone with his ability and potential.

A £20million deal could represent real value for money for a club like Juventus, but with just one year remaining on his contract you can see why Chelsea are prepared to sell and accept a nominal fee compared to his £58million original cost.
