Mauricio Pochettino seemed to have a good relationship with most of his players at Chelsea before his departure.
Mauricio Pochettino left Chelsea by mutual consent last month.
According to BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella, when the players found out about the Argentine’s exit on WhatsApp, they were saddened.
Pochettino has since been replaced by Enzo Maresca, who was named as the new Chelsea boss on Monday.
Not everyone will be disappointed to see the 52-year-old go, though.

Chelsea man not happy with Mauricio Pochettino’s comments
During his time as Chelsea manager, Pochettino could not give everyone opportunities.
It saw the likes of Armando Broja and Ian Maatsen leave the club during the January transfer window.
The former has now been speaking about his relationship with his former manager, discussing comments that he had made about his body language and his lack of faith in him.
When asked if Pochettino’s criticism of his body language after one game surprised him, Broja told The Athletic: “A little bit, because I have been through so much with the injury and he was saying something about me needing to be more happy.
“I did feel like I could have had more trust and belief [from him].”
Mauricio Pochettino’s lack of faith in Armando Broja
In total, Broja made just six starts in the Premier League under Pochettino.
At one point, with Nicolas Jackson jetting off to the Africa Cup of Nations, the 22-year-old was the only natural striker in Chelsea’s squad.
However, Pochettino still overlooked him, something Broja also talked about in his interview with The Athletic.
It resulted in Broja joining Fulham on loan at the end of the January transfer window.
Marco Silva seemed very happy to get him in, hailing the Albania international as a “dynamic” forward. But just as Pochettino did, the Portuguese also overlooked Broja, failing to hand the No.9 a single start during his brief stint at Craven Cottage.
At least Broja did manage to get some game time this season, which is what he needed after being out for so long because of injury. Still, though, it could have been a much better campaign for the Chelsea academy graduate.
