Chelsea defender Levi Colwill says he is happy playing at left-back under Mauricio Pochettino.
Levi Colwill‘s natural position is centre-back, but the 20-year-old has played at left-back for Chelsea and now England this season.
He has now told beIN SPORTS that he is enjoying playing in his new role at Stamford Bridge.
Colwill has been a key player for Mauricio Pochettino so far, starting in all eight of Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures.

Speaking about his new role on the left side of defence after England’s 1-0 win against Australia, Colwill said: “Obviously, it is a different role. But I have been playing there for my club and I am enjoying it.
“And if it gives me a chance to start and to play, I’m all for it.”

Colwill spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion but is now playing for Chelsea and Pochettino will be delighted with that.
The England international has already shown what he brings to the table by starting at left-back for the Blues this season.
He is a versatile defender and that versatility has come in handy for Chelsea, especially now with Ben Chilwell currently out injured.
It has also proven to be a good way for Colwill to get into the Chelsea first team and stay there.
Right now, Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi are playing in central defence and Pochettino will have more names for that area of the pitch once the likes of Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana return from their injuries. Ultimately, there is a lot of competition for just two centre-back spots.
It means Colwill may have to stay at left-back for a little longer, though it will be interesting to see what that would mean for Chilwell.
