Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca is currently preparing his side for Thursday’s match at home to FC Noah in the Conference League group stages.
The Blues return to European action this week by hosting Armenian side Noah in the Conference League, which is a fixture they’ll be expected to win comfortably in.
Axel Disasi claims Chelsea are desperate to lift the Conference League trophy this campaign, and they’ve started well with two wins out of two in the group.
Enzo Maresca, the Chelsea manager, has been finding success in Europe despite heavily rotating with his team selection.

Enzo Maresca confirms Jadon Sancho is still out for Chelsea.
Maresca has delivered the update that Chelsea’s Jadon Sancho, 24, remains unavailable for selection in Thursday’s game.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Maresca said via Chelsea’s official YouTube channel: “He is recovering from that (illness). He had a knock in the session also. For tomorrow, for sure he is out, and we will see if he can be available for Sunday’s game. Otherwise, it will be after the international break.”
Sancho was supposed to start last week in the Carabao Cup during Chelsea’s loss to Newcastle United, but he missed the game at St James’ Park through illness. Afterwards, he was ineligible to face parent club Manchester United at the weekend in the 1-1 Premier League draw.
This forced absence comes straight after Maresca kept Sancho on the bench in the two previous matches for “tactical reasons”. As a result, it means he’s not played any minutes since 20 October against Liverpool.
Therefore, it’s so frustrating that the English winger is now unavailable to face Noah, this time with an injury knock.
Jadon Sancho stalling at Chelsea after quick start
Sancho started quickly in Chelsea colours this season, forcing his way into Maresca’s starting line-up despite great competition for places in the attacking areas.

Unfortunately, Sancho is now missing a string of matches due to various reasons at a time when he was building momentum.
Chelsea have an obligation to buy Sancho for £25m (BBC) next summer from Man United once his season-long loan expires. So far, it still looks like that could be a value for money signing.
