Enzo Maresca is already happy to loan out Chelsea player he was key in signing this summer

Enzo Maresca now has his first win both in Europe and the Premier League under his belt as the new Chelsea manager.

A number of minor tactical changes saw perfection for the Blues at times against Wolves as they picked up a 6-2 win away from home last weekend.

The strength in depth that Chelsea have available for them right now was on full display, with Joao Felix and Pedro Neto coming off the bench to combine for the final goal of the afternoon.

There is still talk that a new striker could be on his way to Stamford Bridge, leaving a number of question marks over how much gametime some of the players up there are likely to get.

One of these is youngster Marc Guiu, who made his competitive debut for the club against Manchester City before starting their Conference League win against Servette.

Enzo Maresca open to loaning out Marc Guiu

According to GiveMeSport though, the manager is now open to him leaving on loan this summer in order to get regular minutes and help his development.

Guiu was very impressive during pre-season for Chelsea, with some even questioning if he would start the season up top with Nicolas Jackson’s injury concerns.

Maresca was key in signing Guiu for Chelsea

It was reported when he joined that Maresca played a key role in signing Guiu, suggesting he certainly sees a future for the youngster at Stamford Bridge.

With talk continuing that the signing of Victor Osimhen could become a possibility in the final few days of the transfer window, minutes would certainly be at a premium for the Spaniard for the foreseeable future.

There would also be question marks over Nicolas Jackson’s place in the side, despite the fact he will be pleased with his overall start in English football.

The Senegal international opened his account for the season with a header in the opening minutes against Wolves on Sunday.
