Enzo Maresca has transformed things on the field for Chelsea since taking over, and now it looks as if he’s trying to take over the Instagram game.

Chelsea fans are loving life under Enzo Maresca and who can blame them. A place in the top four is very much in reach, they remain unbeaten in Europe and they’re playing some of the best football.

Wayne Bridge has already voiced his approval of Maresca’s time at Chelsea so far, stating he think he’s been ‘great’ and has high hopes for the future.

However, this is very much only the start and there’s lots to be achieved, starting with getting back into the Champions League to give the fans what they want.

Last night’s win over Panathinaikos was a big positive, especially for Mykhailo Mudryk. He was one of a number of fringe players who enjoyed a good run out.

The Ukrainian will need to be a bit more careful moving forward on Instagram though, as his boss has just joined the party with his first post.

Enzo Maresca makes first official post after joining Instagram

Marc Cucurella has already revealed that Maresca isn’t actually in the group chat involving the players, despite a number of staff members at Chelsea being in it.

However, now he has the chance to keep an eye on his players on Instagram.

His Instagram, which can be found @maresca, kicked off with a photo of a message to Chelsea fans.

“Hi everyone, I have officially joined Instagram today and I would like to thank you all for your incredible support since I joined the club.

“It is an honour to be the head coach of this great club and I know the expectations here. I have a fantastic group of players and great staff here.

“We will work hard every single day to make the fans be proud to Chelsea.”

Enzo Maresca’s private chat with Cole Palmer about the Europa Conference League

Enzo Maresca made the big call to leave Cole Palmer out of his Europa Conference League squad in the hope of keeping him fresh for other competitions.

Here’s what Palmer had to say on it.

“Enzo explained that it was because it was only my first full season in football last year, and he wants me to be fresh this season. That’s the thinking behind it; I get more rest.”

It makes sense to not risk Palmer in a competition that Chelsea could probably win with their more fringe players given the squad depth.

However, Palmer, being the player he is would no doubt be itching to be involved if Chelsea get to the latter stages of the competition.
