Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca has been super impressed by what he’s seen from one of his players in training so far this season.

Enzo Maresca, the Chelsea manager, should be satisfied with the early months of his reign at Stamford Bridge.

There’s several players in the Blues squad in great form and playing well. As a result, the team currently sits fourth in the Premier League table after the opening seven gameweeks.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently told The Debrief that Chelsea’s players are generally “very happy” so far with Maresca.

The report explains that the suggestion of Madueke being sold in the summer has driven him on to a higher level of professionalism and determination.

Apparently, the right-winger’s commitment to learn the tactical system in training has caught the eye of the Italian head coach.

Romano claimed via The Here We Go Podcast in the summer that Chelsea were considering cashing in on Madueke. However, he’s stayed with the Blues and is now performing superbly well this season.

Noni Madueke has momentum

Our message to Madueke is to ensure he keeps up this recent form because he’s got club teammate Pedro Neto breathing down his neck for a starting position.

So far, Madueke has started six out of seven Premier League games this campaign. The left-footed winger should be delighted with five goals in eight appearances across all competitions.

His most impressive display to date was when he scored a hat-trick away to Wolverhampton Wanderers back in August. Speaking via Chelsea’s official website after the 6-2 league victory, Maresca hailed Madueke as “fantastic”.

We’re not seeing the manager make too many alterations to his XI in the league right now, so it’s been a great opportunity for the likes of Madueke to get an extended run and show their quality.
