Jason Cundy insists Chelsea’s Kai Havertz is so much better now than Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar.
Havertz, 22, was at it again last night with another impressive display in a 3-1 away win against Norwich City.
The Blues were in Premier League action on Thursday night with the backdrop of Roman Abramovich’s sanction still on everyone’s mind.
Havertz, who scored one and assisted another, lead the line superbly yet again against Norwich for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
The German forward is now up to 10 goals for the season across all competitions and is really impressing with his all-round performances.
TalkSPORT pundit and Chelsea fan Cundy singled him out for huge praise in his post-match analysis. Also, he thinks Havertz has now surpassed Brazilian 30-year-old superstar Neymar.
“Kai Havertz, what a brilliant player. I said last night and I’ll say it again, give me Kai Havertz over Neymar every single day of the week,” Cundy told talkSPORT.

Havertz shining in Chelsea XI
Finally, it looks like Blues supporters are getting to see the real Havertz on a consistent basis.
He’s locked down a position in the starting line-up right now, which is bad news for teammate Romelu Lukaku who’s got to be patient.
Havertz’s impact on matches is impressive with his work rate, technique and movement. It helps that he’s now finding the back of the net more regularly, too.
Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan recently said Chelsea’s £150,000-a-week star can become one of the world’s very best players.
As for Cundy’s Neymar comment, he might be correct based on current form. Let’s not go overboard on the hype just yet, though.
After all, Neymar’s scored 70 goals in 116 Brazil caps. The left-winger already has 266 club career goals, too.
