Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Chelsea staff are about to hold a meeting to discuss signing one young player this month.
He took to YouTube to state that the Blues are set to meet to discuss and explore the conditions surrounding the potential signing of striker Jhon Duran.
Duran joined Aston Villa in January last year, and has quickly looked to get some game time under his belt.

He has two Premier League goals to his name, normally playing an understudy role to England striker Ollie Watkins.
He made a real impression in a recent outing against Manchester City, where Gary Neville described him as ‘lively’.
However, this month rumours have begun to spread that Chelsea are potentially interested in a deal that would see him move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea to meet to discuss Duran
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that important staff at the club are set to meet to discuss the conditions surrounding a deal.
He said: “There will be a meeting, direct contact, for Chelsea to discuss Jhon Duran and understand the conditions of the deal.
“I can confirm there is an interest in Duran from Chelsea, but Chelsea have not decided yet whether they want to proceed.”
Chelsea have not been shy when it comes to signing young forwards in the last 18 months or so.
They have added Deivid Washington and David Datro Fofana to their ranks, which makes reports of another signing all the more eye-opening.
Reports have claimed that the Blues are open to the sale of Armando Broja this month, with him clearly not impressing to the level required at Stamford Bridge this season.
However, the Blues should look to replace him this month with a short-term option, before looking to sign an elite number nine for the future when the season comes to and end later this year.
