Chelsea are set to sign Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens from Brighton & Hove Albion and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
Chelsea have seen off competition from Newcastle United and convinced Pedro to join them, while they have also come out on top in the race for Gittens.
It is thought that Bayern Munich also tried to sign Gittens; however, Stamford Bridge will be his next destination.
Pedro and Gittens are both quite young players, but the Blues have a lot of confidence in them.

Chelsea backing Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens to make immediate impact
If Pedro and Gittens can fulfil their potential, then Chelsea could have two exceptional footballers at Stamford Bridge in the future.
According to Fabrizio Romano, though, the Blues believe that the two attackers can make a real impact as early as next season.
Discussing why Chelsea have decided to sign Pedro and Gittens on his podcast, Romano said: “They believe they are ready to make an impact immediately and that’s really important. So it’s not just the potential, it’s also the impact that they can make immediately for the squad this season with Champions League football and obviously Premier League and all the other competitions. But it’s also important to mention that Chelsea believe that these players have big room for improvement.”
Pedro is already an established Premier League player, making just under 90 appearances in the English top flight.
Gittens, on the other hand, is yet to play in the Premier League, so it may take him a bit longer to adapt at Chelsea.
The Blues’ first game of the season is against Crystal Palace at home. It is certainly not the worst fixture for Pedro and Gittens to make their debuts in.

Liam Delap has already made his Chelsea debut at the Club World Cup and has his first goal after scoring in a 3-0 win against Esperance Sportive de Tunis. That will help his confidence going into the Palace game.
Delap could benefit from Pedro’s arrival, with more eyes likely to be on the Brazilian due to his price tag. It could take some pressure off the England Under-21 international.

Mario Melchiot’s Joao Pedro concern
With Jadon Sancho no longer at Chelsea and Mykhailo Mudryk banned, it is quite obvious where Gittens is going to play.
Former Chelsea defender Mario Melchiot does not think it is that straightforward with Pedro, however.
When Melchiot discussed Pedro’s future role in the team, he said: “He’s got a call-up for Brazil, so he’s clearly moving forward. He’s very creative, he comes up, he sets people up, so it’s not that it’s about the ability of the player.
“But it’s about he likes a kind of free role, especially the last season for Brighton, that’s where he operated more than as a striker. But who else plays there for Chelsea? That’s [Cole] Palmer. That is their main guy.”
