Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are proving to not be the most popular figures across both of the clubs they are currently in charge of.
Blues fans protested Boehly in particular ahead of their game against Southampton earlier in 2025, with them looking to make a statement that they were not happy with the way their side have been running since the days of Roman Abramovich.
This pales in comparison to how Strasbourg supporters have reacted to the BlueCo takeover, with them clearly not big fans of becoming essentially a feeder club to the Blues.
This is despite the fact that they have benefitted from a number of players directly from Chelsea this season via loan deals.
Andrey Santos has become one of the best young midfielders in Europe with his performances for the Ligue 1 side, and Djordje Petrovic has been a saviour for them on many occassions this season.

Frank Leboeuf gives worrying prediction about Chelsea owners
Strasbourg fans are unhappy despite recently having a meeting with Eghbali, as their protests continued into the game against Nice, one where the co-owner was in attendance.
Former Chelsea star Frank Lebouef has stated that he and a number of fans of the club are worried that as soon as their players turn good, they are going to be making the move to Stamford Bridge as soon as possible.
He told GFNF: “It’s going to be hard because the fans are not completely stupid and blind. They know what’s going to happen to the best players if they’re good for Strasbourg. They’re going to leave, and they’re going to go to Chelsea.
“And so we’re going to start again. Strasbourg is kind of the resource club for Chelsea, and it’s only fair; they injected money, and I understand that, and if the fans are happy right now, they’re naturally going to be worried about what’s going to happen in the future.
“And I am too. I love what the club tries to do. Marc Keller, the chairman of Strasbourg, is my friend and my former teammate. I know he tries to do his best for the club. But [the fans] have question marks, and it’s fair for them to have said, we are worried, and we don’t want the club to be a bad club.”

Chelsea targeting Strasbourg star
As well as the players the Blues already have on loan at the French side, they are reportedly keeping their eye on some of the other first team stars there.
One player they are interested in is Emanuel Emegha, who has been banging in the goals regularly in 2025 that have helped his side climb up the table.
The Blues could add more than one striker to their ranks this season, with a number of high-profile names linked with the switch.
Emegha would likely represent another young addition, perhaps being loaned back to his current club for the upcoming campaign.
