Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had been confident all week that his side would be able to take all three points from the away game against Chelsea at the weekend.
Even after defeat in Europe, Arteta predicted Arsenal would win at Stamford Bridge, however he had to settle for a point yesterday.
Pedro Neto’s sensational strike cancelled out Gabriel Martinelli’s opener, with both sides perhaps feeling as if they could’ve won it.
Chelsea fans will likely be a tad disappointed they didn’t see more from one of their superstars. Cole Palmer limped away from Stamford Bridge after a relatively quiet outing.

Frank Leboeuf thinks Mikel Arteta disrespected Chelsea with his comments
Despite an incredibly even stat line and the Blues actually creating more xG than their opponents yesterday, Arteta was insistent after the game that his side had dominated proceedings.
Frank Leboeuf seemed to disagree with this opinion, saying that he was actually showing a lack of respect towards Chelsea and what they brought to the fixture.
He said to ESPN FC: “I don’t like Mikel Arteta’s comments, they were quite disrespectful towards Chelsea. It was a fair result. You’re not dominant just because you had two chances at the end. That guy has to respect others in order to be respected.”
Chelsea fans delighted with Enzo Maresca
Chelsea fans will again be very happy with what they have seen from their own manager, Enzo Maresca, in what his first season in charge of the club.
The Blues have gone into another intervention break in the early stages of the season in third in the league, only behind Liverpool and Manchester City.
Supporters are still waiting for their side to claim their first really big scalp of the season, although now go into a really nice run of fixtures all the way up until the month of February.
If they are to establish themselves as one of the favourites for a top-four finish this season, the Blues are going to need to put their opponents to the sword in the coming weeks.
