Chelsea are not in a good way at the moment, however pundits Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer are not on board with one rumour surrounding the club right now.
The Blues have suffered back-to-back defeats under Enzo Maresca in the Premier League, with both coming as a result of breakdowns following sending offs.
Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah were given their marching orders in consecutive games, leaving those on the pitch very little chance of walking away with three points.
Defeat to Brighton saw some Chelsea fans begin to turn on Maresca inside the stadium, as they grew frustrated at a poor start to the season.

Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer not on board with recent Chelsea rumour
Some supporters have called for Maresca to be replaced, despite the fact that we are only months removed from him winning two trophies at the end of his first season in charge.
Lineker and Shearer both believe he should not be under any pressure due to the circumstances surrounding their recent Premier League defeats.
Lineker said: “It’s funny football isn’t it. Maresca is apparently now under pressure. He won two trophies recently, he’s got Palmer out. Surely not? He’s just won the Club World Cup.”
Shearer added: “He was probably expected to win the Conference League with Chelsea, but there weren’t too many people that tipped Chelsea to win the Club World Cup, and he did win it.
“He’s lost two games in a row, and he’s lost them because essentially both times he’s gone down to 10 men, and we know how difficult that it is.
“Because of it being Chelsea, you’re not going to get too much sympathy. Should he be under pressure? In my opinion, no, because he’s lost two games, but you know when you sign up to that football club that anything can happen. You know the rules when you sign up to Chelsea, that can happen to you. Two losses and you’re under huge pressure is madness in football, but doesn’t surprise me at Chelsea.”

Todd Boehly’s stance on Enzo Maresca
The Chelsea owners will have known that they were hiring a coach who was inexperienced at this level when they decided that he would be the one to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
It seems as if they are not being short-sighted in this, with recent reports stating that Todd Boehly and co are backing Maresca to remain in the job.
The Italian will need a turnaround in form soon, starting with the Champions League group stage clash against Benfica.
Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho will be in charge of the visitors for that one, and he would love nothing more than making a statement against his former side on Tuesday.
