Gary Neville was extremely scathing last night of Chelsea’s display in the first half against Arsenal last night.
The pundit took to Twitter to describe the performance from Frank Lampard’s side as a ‘shambles’.
The league leaders ran away with a 3-1 win at the Emirates last night, with them in complete control for the majority of the evening as they look to keep their title hopes alive.

Only a slight improvement in the second half helped avoid further embarrassment for the Blues, who were three goals down before the first 45 had even come to an end.
A change in system and a number of personnel changes may have given some hope to supporters before the game that they would get some joy from handing another blow to the Gunners.
This didn’t happen though, and Neville was very critical of the Blues for how they began the game.
Neville slams Chelsea
He said: “Are Chelsea’s players ok? How bad? Probably score now. I actually fancied Chelsea pre-match with Arsenal having had a difficult couple of weeks! But they’ve played Arsenal back into confidence. Shambles!”
One of the only real bright spots of last night’s game was the performance of Noni Madueke on the right-hand-side.

The England U21 international enjoyed a rare start for his new club, and marked the occasion with his first goal for them.
Lampard has already hinted that the youngster is in line for more minutes between now and the end of the season, and his team selection in general will be of interest to many based on the lack of importance the games now hold.
Many other promising talents will be hoping for an appearance, with Mykhailo Mudryk again impressing in a cameo showing in the second half.
