Mykhailo Mudryk was left speechless after lasers had been shined in his face during Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal last night.

The Ukrainian took to Twitter to simply post a facepalm emoji in response to a video from Sky Sports showing a green laser following him around the pitch. 

Mudryk was a second half substitute last night as the Blues were again humbled on the pitch, losing 3-1 to the league leaders.

Chelsea supporters will absolutely be frustrated at the manner of their defeat, although some of the team selections in these games with very little consequence are beginning to be the bigger concern.

Despite his big money signing in January, Mudryk is struggling for minutes in this underperforming team, usually being restricted to the final few when the game is usually decided.

This could be excused easier if his performances warranted that, however his last two starts for the club have shown exactly what he can do, assisting a rare goal in both games.

He looked bright again last night after being booed onto the pitch by Arsenal fans, due to his decision to choose to play his football at Stamford Bridge instead of the Emirates.

However, television cameras continued to pick up footage of Mudryk having lasers shone at him from the stands seemingly whenever he touched the ball.

Whether it impacted his game or not is unknown, however it was for sure a classless gesture from Gooners in the Emirates last night.

Mudryk has absolutely earned himself a start in future weeks, where he may be part of a new-look wide pairing with fellow January signing Noni Madueke, who was the only player singled out for praise by interim boss Frank Lampard after the game.
