No matter what has happened on the pitch for Chelsea in the last 12 months, one thing that cannot be doubted is just how promising their future is.

It has been key to the project brought to the club by Todd Boehly and co for them to sign some of the world’s most exciting young players before their rivals get their hands on them.

Some of them have already gone on to do great things at the top level of the game. Kendry Paez has been setting records for the senior Ecuador team at the age of just 17.

Another of their players who will not actually join up with the first team until next summer is set to make his first appearance for his country in the upcoming international break.

Attacker Estevao Willian has been renarkably called up to the Brazil national team after impressing greatly on club duty for Palmeiras, with him seeming to score a stunning goal every time he takes to the pitch.

Estevao Willian handed a 10/10 match rating

David Ornstein has been told that Estevao is a ‘generational’ talent, and there is a lot of excitement over what he can bring to Stamford Bridge when he does join.

His club appearances in Brazil have continued to catch the eye, and according to WhoScored he is the only player in his league to have registered a 10 match rating.

Discussion has already begun over the strength in depth the Blues have in the attacking positions already at the club, and how that will be affected when the youngster makes the move to England.

Chelsea added to their strength in depth over the summer with the additions of Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho, with Enzo Maresca facing the tough challenge of finding a solution that keeps everyone happy in West London.
