Something has Chelsea fans fuming ahead of their club’s Premier League game against Bournemouth this weekend.
Chelsea travel to the Vitality Stadium to face the Cherries, looking for their second top-flight win of the season.
Enzo Maresca‘s men drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace last time out, a game where Maresca felt Jadon Sancho could have helped.
Sancho should be available for the Bournemouth match, which should excite Chelsea supporters, but going into the fixture some fans are not happy about one thing.

Chelsea fans fume at Anthony Taylor decision
Anthony Taylor is set to officiate Chelsea’s game against Bournemouth, something that Blues supporters are not happy about.
Taylor has already refereed one Chelsea match this season, a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City, and is not the Stamford Bridge faithful’s favourite person.
They made that clear on X after it was announced that the 45-year-old would be in charge at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
One Chelsea fan said: “Wonder what war crime Anthony Taylor will commit against our club this week…”
Another said: “This is his second Chelsea fixture in our first four league games. No club should have a referee this frequently. Something is genuinely not right here…”
And finally, one Chelsea supporter posted: “Anthony Taylor against Bournemouth? We are doomed!”
The past few days have certainly been interesting for Chelsea fans, with a lot going on at the club right now. In the boardroom, there is a clash between Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital currently going on.
Chelsea cannot use Anthony Taylor as an excuse
Even if Taylor puts in the worst refereeing performance of his career on Saturday, Chelsea should not be using him as an excuse if they fail to win the match.
Bournemouth have become a good side under Andoni Iraola and have started this season well. In fact, they are actually doing better than Chelsea, having earned one more point than their upcoming opponents.
Going forward, they will be a threat. The Cherries have shot-happy Antoine Semenyo, who has already scored two goals in the Premier League this season.
But Chelsea have a star-studded attack and so many options, including Sancho, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke. They have more than enough to win this game and cannot be pointing the finger at officials afterwards.
