Mauricio Pochettino has now stated that one Chelsea youngster is about to become a more permanent member of the first team squad.
He claimed during his pre-match press conference that Cesare Casadei is about to be involved a lot more in Premier League action after returning from his loan spell at Leicester City.
After an inconsistent spell at the Championship leaders, Casadei has seen his loan there cut short with the likeliness being that his gametime was about to heavily decrease.

It was quickly claimed after he was brought back to West London that the Italian would be about to become a member of the squad at Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season.
This was instead of going out on loan, with that decision still be made on fellow returnees Andrey Santos and Diego Moreira.
However, Pochettino made it clear that he expects Casadei to be involved in some capacity for the rest of this season.
Pochettino on Casadei
He said: “We need to assess now, they have come back from their loan. They are going to be a part of our squad and then the decision will be if it’s going to be every game part of the team. It’s good news because we are suffering too many injuries and this is good for us.
“In pre-season, he worked really well. Yes, we hope he can help. Tomorrow it is not possible because he played with Leicester in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. But yes in the Premier League, maybe he can be involved.”
There will be some that are under the impression that if the midfielder was not good enough for a side the division below, then he may well not be for Chelsea.
However, with no signings coming in approaching the final week of January, it could just be a case of more bodies at the club during a plethora of injuries.
