Chelsea look to be far from finished in the summer transfer window, despite the fact there are just two weeks remaining.
Enzo Maresca will no doubt have been hoping for their situation to be sorted by now, with him just days away from starting life as a Premier League manager.
He will have a good idea who he is wanting to start in the season opener, with Manchester City visiting Stamford Bridge.
One player who has certainly done plenty to impress during pre-season is Noni Madueke, with him having a serious case to begin the season on the right of attack.
However, talk of a move away has not escaped the England U21 star this summer. Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is reportedly a fan of Madueke.

Noni Madueke tipped to leave
Taking into account the club’s recent transfer business points this way too, with them recently announcing the signing of Pedro Neto.
Journalist Graeme Bailey has exclusively predicted to The Chelsea Chronicle that a move to St. James’ Park is on the agenda for Madueke.
He said: “I think Madueke will go. I would put Newcastle as firm favourites for him they like him. I think he’ll go.”
Maresca admitted when he joined the club he had doubts over Madueke, however those looked to be put to bed with his brilliant displays over in the United States.
Chelsea trying to sign Joao Felix
It is hard not to draw comparisons between rumours of a departure and reports that they are keen on signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.
After a deal collapsed to bring in Samu Omorodion, the sale of Conor Gallagher has been thrown into doubt unless the La Liga side can sell a key player.
While not a direct replacement, Felix would be bringing more strength to an attack which already has plenty of competiton for places, and could require a sale of someone like Madueke to facilitate.
