Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has now been full of praise for one of the many youngsters who Chelsea have signed in recent months.
He told the Evening Standard that he was a massive fan of teenage sensation Kendry Paez, who he may get the chance to meet in the coming days during his time in England.
Paez’s domestic campaign has come to an end following what ended up being a dramatic play-off which decided the destination of the league title.

The 16-year-old found the net from distance to open the scoring, before he was forced off with what looked like an injury.
Despite setting the record for being the youngest player to score in this fixture, it wasn’t enough for his side to get the job done.
Following this game, it is widely expected that he will be in attendance tonight at Stamford Bridge as the Blues take on Newcastle United in the EFL Cup.
Pochettino praises Paez
The excitement surrounding him joining the club in 2025 has been clear to see amongst supporters up to now.
Pochettino has now commented for the first time on one of the most promising signings Chelsea have made in recent times.
He said: “Of course, I know him. He is playing in the Ecuador national team. He was the youngest to make his debut.
“I follow the national teams, I follow them in South America, he is our player and I know him very well. He is a great talent.”
The best thing Paez can do now is continue to get experience playing for the senior Ecuador side, where he often features in midfield alongside Moises Caicedo.
As he does this, Blues fans will be counting down the days and weeks until he is eligible to join the club and begin to make his impact on English football.
