One thing that has been a constant for Chelsea no matter who has been in charge of the club is the bad injury luck they have suffered.
Mauricio Pochettino’s time at the club was plagued by injuries to his key players. The likes of Romeo Lavia, Reece James and Christopher Nkunku hardly saw the pitch last season.
One positive from the early stages of this campaign has been Wesley Fofana starting all three Premier League games after not playing a minute last season.
Yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace saw Malo Gusto forced off late with what looked like a hamstring injury, with Enzo Maresca not too confident that it wouldn’t be something that keeps him out for a little while.
It seems like the Frenchman is not the only one who has unfortunately suffered the fat of picking up an injury, with Omari Kellyman set for a spell on the sidelines.

Omari Kellyman confirms he is injured
The youngster was signed for £19m over the summer by Chelsea, with Ian Maatsen going the other way to Aston Villa.
Kellyman took to Twitter to confirm that he had suffered a hamstring problem, with him vowing to be back stronger when he returns.
He said: “Gutted to have suffered a hamstring injury. Part of the game but I’ll be back stronger.”
Kellyman was not loaned out in summer by Chelsea
It looked as if Kellyman was going to be loaned out this summer, despite only just joining the club.
While that departure was one of the many that the Blues were not able to get done late in the transfer window, it still looked as if his future was away from the first team, with the offer of regular football being on offer with the youth sides.
Fabrizio Romano stated this morning that Kellyman was set to be sidelined for about two months, with many hoping that this is not the first of a long line of issues at Stamford Bridge.
