Simon Jordan thinks Manchester City could go out and try sign ex-Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham, who Chelsea decided to sell last summer, has seen his reputation soar this season due to his excellent form with Roma.
The centre-forward’s had no problems adapting to Italian football, scoring 23 goals in 40 games across all competitions so far this campaign for Roma.
He left Stamford Bridge with 30 goals in 82 first-team Blues appearances, but he’s now got the responsibility of being the first-choice number nine at a big club in Serie A.
TalkSPORT pundit Jordan suggests that Premier League leaders Man City could even look towards 24-year-old frontman Abraham as a possible target. Roma now reportedly value their England international at £100million, though.
“You wonder if the Man City’s of the world are looking at him in a certain way. Clearly they’re going to look at a centre-forward. He’s not Erling Haaland, different build and different dynamic, but he’s a centre-forward. Centre-forwards get goals and the centre of attack is something Man City don’t have. He could be in Man City’s plans,” Jordan told talkSPORT.

Chelsea thriving with modern number nine
Abraham’s brilliant form overseas will make some at Chelsea regret his sale, but the side under Thomas Tuchel are currently excelling without a conventional number nine.
Kai Havertz, who fits the mould of a modern attacker, looks the part in the centre-forward role.
The German attacker is very fluid in his movement across the final third, as well as dropping into deeper pockets of space when needed.
However, he’s providing the perfect solution as the spearhead of the attack. He’s scored four goals in his last three Premier League matches, too.
It looks like Chelsea are taking a leaf out of the book of Liverpool and Man City, who have both moved away from a traditional striker.
Tuchel’s got the option in his squad to make it with Romelu Lukaku, though.
