Gabby Agbonlahor has stressed that Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix is not the answer for Chelsea this month.
The Atletico forward is strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with a deal reportedly verbally agreed for him to complete a short-term loan until the end of the season. The Athletic say it’s going to cost the Blues €11million (£9.7million) to take him on loan.
In addition, The Independent claim Chelsea could announce the Felix signing today.

Felix is not the answer for Chelsea
TalkSPORT pundit Agbonlahor has responded to the Felix speculation by suggesting he’s a bad imminent signing for Chelsea.
“For me, he (Felix) is not the answer. I think he’s lightweight and he’s not what Chelsea need,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
It’s going to be interesting to see how he copes with the physicality and pace of the Premier League for the first time in his career.
You can certainly understand why people are hesitant about this deal, but there’s no doubt Graham Potter will be welcoming in a supremely talented individual to his squad.

In our view, the most fascinating part of Felix’s expected arrival will be how Potter uses him.
The Portuguese speedster can play a number of different forward positions, something that is not always a positive when you check on the current Chelsea squad.
It would be great to fit him into a creative role where he links off a central striker. Unfortunately, the Blues are still searching for that recognised frontman to link everything together.
