Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that at Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is one of the names on the list of targets at Stamford Bridge.
He told GiveMeSport that the Spaniard is one of the four top candidates they have on a list to offer genuine competition to Kepa Arrizabalaga next season.
Raya is likely to be on the move this summer after making it clear that he is not looking to sign a new contract to remain across the other side of West London.

It was believed that a move to Tottenham was on the cards, after the player agreed personal terms with Ange Postecoglu’s side.
However, they were hesitant to pay the fee the Bees were hoping for, and instead have looked to move on to other targets.
This could clear a path for Chelsea, who Jones has claimed have had Raya on their list for a while now.

He said: “Now that Spurs have moved on to another option, you begin to wonder how Raya will get out of Brentford. Man United have had an eye on him for a long time, so I can see how that might open up if [David] De Gea actually leaves.
“Anyway, beyond that, I also wonder about Chelsea in terms of Raya. Mendy is moving on; they need to bring someone else in, and while £40m is not cheap, it’s also not terrible for a club like this if they believe he can become the No.1. They will want Kepa to have some genuine competition next season and have four main options, of which he is one.”
The Blues are likely to enter the market for a new goalkeeper when Edouard Mendy’s awaited transfer to Saudi Arabia is completed.
