Mark Schwarzer criticised N’Golo Kante after the Chelsea star’s performance in yesterday’s defeat at Arsenal.
N’Golo Kante, along with the rest of his Chelsea teammates, endured yet another poor result this season in the Premier League. In fact, the Blues have now lost six consecutive games across all competitions since Frank Lampard was appointed caretaker manager until the end of the season.
Arsenal returned to the top of the league table with a very comfortable 3-1 home win over rivals Chelsea.
The Gunners are in an excellent spot right now with Mikel Arteta steering the ship as manager. In contract, nobody quite knows what’s happening right now at Stamford Bridge.

BBC pundit and former Blues star Schwarzer wasn’t too impressed by Kante’s display at the Emirates Stadium.
In particular, he noticed the 32-year-old’s passing was really sloppy.
“Let’s not forget, this was Kante’s sixth start of the season. He looked off in terms of his touch. His passing wasn’t on it. The effort was there, but this wasn’t the Kante we’ve seen over the years,” Schwarzer told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Kante struggled to get to grips with Arsenal last night and so many teammates were in the same boat.
It’s worth pointing out that the £30million (BBC) midfielder has only played eight games this season, with injuries disrupting his first half of the campaign. He’s clearly now still fighting to get back to his best levels.
WhoScored recorded a 79 per cent passing accuracy from Kante against Arsenal, which was one of the worst for the visitors.
TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor recently said Kante is not the same player he used to be.
We think it’s still too early to tell given his lack of football in recent times, but his injuries and form is worrying.
